Cam and Valve Spring Question 16v

OK, I'm not the 16V expert, but....
16V's and 8V's use the same springs and lifters. The stock 8V springs are
good for just over 11mm lift without coil bind. With the relatively light
16V valves I would think any cam with 11mm lift or less would work fine with
stock springs and any revs you'd reasonably care to run.

Subject: Cam and Valve Spring Question 16v

> All right after some horse trading I have acquired to set of stock 16v
cams and will be sending a set to Delta to be reground. The question of the
day is what is the maximum profile that I can use without changes the valve
springs? I am only looking for a moderate gain of 8 to 10 hp (in reality
probably a little less).
