Basic AC Question

Hi all,
Basic AC Question here: I want to replace my AC dryer and refill my AC,
but I want to get a shop to pull a vacuum first to make sure the system is
solid. So if I have a shop evacuate the system and pull a vacuum first,
then replace the dryer, do I need to evacuate the system again prior to
filling it with R134a since I opened it to the atmosphere? TIA.
