Cam bearing stud stripped. what to do.

Yeah, it's just the top of the stud that's stripped.  Because the cam bearing caps wouldn't go on nicely, it was crooked as I tightened it, which i think caused it.

So, anyone else put cams in and worry about mauling things?  Like cam bearing surfaces on the head?  Was it ok?
