PP bolt torque - MANY contradictions - WTF???

For my 81 - 4K tranny - 16v pp - 8v disc

80-81 Bentley - 55 ft/lb
80-84 Bentley - 55 ft/lb bolts without shoulder
              - 75 ft/lb bolts with shoulder
75-92 Haynes  - 55 ft/lb
85-92 Bentley - 22 ft/lb + quarter turn


So, which is right?!?!?  I'm guessing 55 ft/lb should be ok, but the bolts I have appear
to have a shoulder, so maybe they should be 75?
