88 16v: should i replace the hub when doing the front bearings?



I usually replace the hub since they aren't that expensive and you can't
usually tell how worn they are.  Usually if the bearing is really bad
(pretty major wobble or howling) the hub is bad too.  But, again, it is your
call.  IF you don't replace it and it needs replacing, it is next to
impossible to save your new bearing while pushing the hub back out to be
replaced.  HTH!
