injector experts, please help...



Hey, not to start the big controversy again (really!), but who told you that
the dutycycle specifically ends up being 90% at 300hp with 310cc injectors?
What fuel pressure is that at? What turbo? What intercooler? Which 1.8T
version? Who's chip? They've all got different capabilities. "1.8T" is not a
standard design.

Whatever the case, even at whopping 72psi (5bar) fuel pressure you'd have to
have a .45 brake specific fuel consumption to make that much power at a 90%
dutycycle. That's lower than most engines can even achieve on race gas with
standalone management!

Back that claim up with a credible link or other reference, dude. Otherwise
you're blowing hot air. :^)

Ah, maybe at close to low 90s duty cycle and about 16 pounds boost, as many
1.8t people have done for some time.
