Some info 'bout me

Having run the Kennedy 6-puck in my rallycar, I wouldn't call the actuation
"harsh". But, it is definitely abrupt. -not really on/off, but way grabbier
than stock. Now, that was a version with a sprung center section. If you use
one with a solid center, then *THAT* will be incredibly harsh. I don't
recommend that at all for what you're doing.

Assuming that you're running some Schrick 260 - 276 cams, I figure that
you'll be pumping out around 160hp. My clutch (Sachs 8v disk/2.0l 16v
pressure plate) slipped on my 2.0l 16v with 42mm runners, Schrick 260s, and
ported/polished head. How is your current clutch doing?

You're right on the edge as far as the stock clutch holding up, but you're
not really in need of a 6-puck. That's my opinion, anyway. If I were you,
I'd run the stock disk and a stronger pressure plate. That'll give you very
smooth actuation but will eliminate the slip.

well the one of the two GRM cars will be doing a kennedy engineering
6puck. we'll let you know how that is, but were guessing that its a little
harsh for the street...
