The reason i ask is that i have the controls in the dash but the hoses from the condenser thing in front of the radiator are not connected to anything, and i was trying to replace my alternator belt but the belt for an a/c car was much too short and when autozone gave me a belt that was the same size as the old one (36 in. or 914mm) it was also too short to allow the alternator to go back on right so they finally just gave me one a little longer than the old one and it worked. The belt goes over the alternator pulley, water pump pulley and some other pulley near the back of the engine, so is my a/c deleted? tia</DIV>
