A moment of silence

Yeah, my roommate and I were both reminising (sp) over it. Our favorite part was when he went to factories and showed how stuff was made. In that yahoo article, it talks a bit about how many people watched him in the 80s compared to the 90s and how he held firm in his approach and message. Stomach cancer is one of the most painful I've heard too. I watched him every day myself, from when I went to preschool and was at a babysitters by 6:30am (1984 I think) until the early 90s, when younger siblings took over the TV and Barney became the staple show. Out of all the TV and movie celebrities, he would be the person I'd most have wanted to meet.

Mr. Rogers died today at age 74 of stomach cancer. Host of my favorite TV show in the mid 80s, I thought he was the coolest person alive. I still remember visiting his house at Nantucket and I was like 4 at the time.
