Cheating the sniffer?



I think it will depend on how it is not passing.  In my area CO is measured
as well as N0x and HC
there are ways you can fail a test here if you are too lean, as well as too
rich.  Unburned Hydrocarbons (possible too rich) cant be too high,
Carbon Monoxide(forget how this gets too high) and  Oxides of Nitrogen  (I
think) can be a result of too lean.
I guess it depends on what your testor tests for as to what you can easily
fiddle with.
Just my experiance.
