TT Short Shifter problems...

Look at me, full of questions today.

Well, here's something that has been bugging me for the few years=
that I've had my TT shifter.

The TT piece uses a bolt that goes into the large upside-down "L"=
shaped pivot arm (this is the only part the TT shifter replaces=
with their own piece IIRC). This little bolt holds the small=
rubber ball rod thingy onto the bottom of the shaft. This is=
different from the stock piece in that stock uses a nut and the=
end of the shaft itself is threaded.

My problem is that the bolt keeps loosening just enough to cause=
the rubber ball thingy to get slack on the shifter shaft and=
 make finding gears rather difficult.

So, what to do? I've tried lock-tite, locking washers,=
super-glue, and torquing until I almost broke the bolt! Nothing=
works longer than 2-3 weeks it seems. Anyone else have this=
problem? Maybe I need to have TT replace it? JB weld the thing=
 together?

Thanks,
Joshua
