Tow bars - any good?

Tow bars work by allowing the towed car to steer for it self. The down side
of this is that you can not back the rig up. The first one you have listed
will hook to the bumper but may mar the cover, the second one will require
you to make some brackets. I have been successful using the second type by
bolting it into the tie down eyes on the front of the towed car. When
setting this up your best handling will be had if the tow bar angles down in
the front a bit. And remember to stop and check the tightness of everything
after a mile or two and then again every time you stop.

Good luck
