what is normal oil temp?

All this talk about temps brings up the question of the accuracy of these
gauges. I'd bet that they are suspect.

Joe I should think that you want to get 100c somewhere in there to burn off
the moisture that will accumulate. Is your Mocal equipped with a thermostat?
Is it adjustable?

Rolling Roc ('87 16v) runs 90c to 110c. Right where I'd like it.
