shift points for older engines



  Older? Sure, mine is a 1.6l with 218K mi.s, shift point is usually between 
3500-4500 rpm. Nothing wrong with being gentle on your motor I guess, but 
unless you're blowing blue smoke out the back, running it in the higher rpm 
range shouldn't be a problem. :)
