Hi all
My story is quite diffrent...
I fall in love with the MKII on 1983....I was 15 my dad said no way jose,
then his bussines broke and 15 years later I  finally put my hands on my 85
Rocco at 30

actually took so long time because the scirocco was not available in mexico.
we at the border area can buy almost any car in the us and import it to
mexico as far is at least 4~5 years old  but the rocco is a rare specimen so
it took long time until i found a "decent one" and buy it ,
thats how i got my rocco almost 6 years ago

I started with a 75 Scirocco when I was 22 now I've got a 86 Scirocco at 42.
I guess I'll have a 97 vw when I'm 62!
