Can't get her to run

The 8v arrived this weekend. I can't get her to start.  When I turn the key,
the motor turns, but does not fire. I have checked the plugs, cap, rotor,
plug wires, battery, looked for loose connections... I checked the Bentley
to make sure the wires were connected to the cap in the proper order...
Nothing.  I know I am missing something basic.  I am wondering if she is out
of timing.  I checked the Bentley and this and of course it is all covered
in different areas.  I believe everything is set. There is fuel in the tank.
Any ideas? It is an 86 8v with no a/c.

BTW.  I have put pictures on the website and updated a few things if anyone
wants to check it out.
