body kits help (new twist)

Doug Teulie and Shawn Meze (never forget) helped me pull an entire kit
off of an 87. In short, it sucked.

We used a heat gun to heat the fender, and a bunch of prybars and
screwdrivers. What I've heard is best to do is use fishing line or
string to cut the glue off the body. In any case you don't want to pull
the kit at any really hard angles or it won't get flush with the body
when you go to put it back on.

What I found made it a LOT easier was to let the car sit out in the 100
degree heat for a few hours, and then the pieces literally peeled right
off.
