Flood



Well, be careful of the size of the hammer you use and I wouldn't call them
"Good Whacks".  Medium taps would do just fine since the reason why you
would have to do this is either the solenoid is stuck or the magnets on the
side of the starter housing has come loose.

I would also check the connections on the starter.  Make sure all the
energizing wires are still hooked up!

If nothing else, just swap the starter.  Takes about 15 minutes and are
readily available in any pick a part.  Just make sure your cylinders are
drained of all fluids before you try to crank it over.  Water doesn't
compress!!
