Plug wires - 8v

I had an intermittent miss, and suspected #1 cylinder, which lead me to
check the wires and #1 had something like 100,000 ohms res., my highest
reading out of all four wires by far.

Yes, Bentley says the metal covered connectors should have no more than 5000
ohms, +/- 1000. I did not pull the wire out of the connector, to test just
the connector. But with a readings higher than the Bentley suggests on all
four, and the known age of the wires, I would assume that replacing them
would not be a waste of time or money. I am not one to replace parts if they
don't need it, just trying to make this my DD, and want to make it as solid
as possible.

I need to get by my local yard for something else, so I am going to check
some random wires while I'm there, out of curiosity. A little field research
, if you will, to see what kind of readings I get.
Thanks for the help guys, Jeff
