Serpetine Belts

its been done to a 16V, do a search on vwvortex for it. I had alot of info
for it but i have since reformatted. You will need the pulleys from an ABA
and diff alt bracket maybe. after all done you will still have one v belt.

You'll be the first..........
Let us know how many hundreds of dollars you spend.

I don't believe it's a 'better' system, just more compact when you have half
a dozen accessories to drive. It would be rather trick, however.

After fixing one problem, I managed to get myself into another with the
rocco. The fan on the alt.
decided that it wanted to go on a vacation so it flew away. I replaced it
but I was wondering if I can
convert the 16V (I'm thinking it should be the same for a 8V) to a
serpentine belt system? Is it a
better system? Has anyone done it and point my to which parts I would
need to seek?

  TIA
