Please help, coolant in oil

This is on my '83 1.8JH; rebuilt about 11K ago. Head gasket replaced about 3K ago(had to remove head because of broken exh. stud, not because gasket was bad). Recent compression test showed even 135-140psi across all cylinders. Absolutely no smoke from the exhaust. When replacing the oil pump about a week ago I found a thin film of coolant along the bottom of the oil pan, thin enough that it was undetectable even by draining the oil, the only way I noticed was after removing and cleaning the pan. Now the problem seems to be worsening. My crankcase breather hose is full of ugly oil "milk"(coolant filled), but when I push my dipstick down all the way to the bottom of the pan there is no coolant on the tip of it(I push it all the way down after removing that plastic thing). I removed the valve cover and the oil in the head looks normal, great even. What is going on? What should I do? How can I test to see if it's the oil to water cooler? How harmful is it to drive with this little amount of coolant in there? Last but not least, when I removed the oil pan I also found a very very small chunk of cast iron, presumably from the block. From it's appearance it looks like it was sheared off from overtightening a bolt somewhere, but I'm not sure where. Could it be a cracked/broken block? Thanks in advance, please help! -Rob
