8v alt and oxs light

Well, if the alternator belt is gone, you will not worry for longer than 30
seconds about your alternator light coming up. Guaranteed.

I think there was a discution about voltage regulator a while back, and if
they age, you will need to rev higher the motor for the light to come off at
start up. Just change the voltage regulator. Easy and cheap, unless of
course it is an older 8V motor with AC.

Cheers.
