1.8 head on a 1.7 block?



Hey All,

Not interested in doing a motor swap right now on my 82 and I have two 
broken exhaust studs on the 1.7L head. I have a 1.8L head with a
g-grind in it. Can I throw that on or should I have the 1.7L head repaired 
and possibly decked and ported? What's the best option? I've heard the 1.7L 
heads don't flow very well and that's one of the downfalls of the 1.7L 
motor.
