Installing gauge senders

The threads in the oil filter flange are very very close to 1/8 NPT, but
you should really go to an auto parts place and get a set an adapter for
M10 to 1/8 NPT.  I lucked out, my oil filter flange had a third boss so
I just screwed it in there.
