WTF? #!?@ tranny leak

yeah, i think it's about right now.

then clean and look for leaks. sometimes all of the above

hmm. noticed the sheathing was cracked, but didn't think anything of it. 
still don't see why it would intermittently leak from the top of the tranny 
when the car is just sitting there. maybe some capillary action of the fluid 
up the cable? maybe i'll try replacing the cable and all seals around that 
area...
