Rhett, you can run your lawnmower off the Megasquirt if you get creative
enough. There's nothing about a VW 8v engine that makes it any different
than any other VW (or other) motor as far as converting to EFI is concerned.
The same is true for any other standalone engine management system. They're
useable on pretty much anything.
