16v model year differences [GEARING]



I'd say that's pretty close for guessing. I have a FF and with a  2.0 turbo
pulled 5600 rpm in 5th. I think that's 138mph or so (old speedo just bounces at
100mph max). But yes, the torque is manadatory to pull thru wide gears. I now
have a .71 5th and am hoping for another 5mph or so, but really have it for
cruising at 75-85 around 3k/rpm, without the need to downshift for good
accelartion.
If anyone needs a .76 5th gearset, lemme know (make offer).
