Yeah, that sounds about right for most paint jobs that I've gotten quotes from. Though we don't have a foot of snow, we did get a few inches yesterday and it's gone from 2 days of 65F back to 20F, much lower with windchill. Only in Steamboat can it be 65 and sunny and 20 and snowing all in the same day. I haven't visited scirocco.org in a couple months and now when I need it, the damn ice storm knocks it out! Just my luck...

Actually.. this morning coffee in hand pop garage door open, turn on the
lights, reach for my cabinet of parts where my paint is awaiting, and as I
open the door.. I am greeted by a 5 ft Bull snake sleeping atop the
cabinet...
well greeted, was more like looking at me going.. can you not see the big
ass rat shape in the middle of my body... ya letting the light in buddy I am
sleeping and digesting and I am warm up here... (the cabite stands 6FT tall
btw, and he is atop it)... flicker of the tongue...
Grab camera, take picture, grab broom handle, gently lift snake off of
cabinet, walk to fence line, let snake into grass....drink coffee
Yeah ya regular Texas morning... no scorpions in Dallas , that more like
Houston area.
3 days ago it was a 15lbs possum in my trash can outside the garage door...
eh! its a life...
Its 65'F morning, no snow, and I can drive with my sunroof down 90% of the
year.. not to mention...
I can drive my car more than 3 months out of the year (grin)..
Okay okay Ill stop rubbing it in...
