The oil pan gasket thing

While you have the pan off check your oil pump pickup for little
chunks/pieces of rtv that got might have gotten sucked in and stuck on the
metal screen.

About half the surface area of my screen was clogged with rtv from some
P.O. who had the same "great" idea you did.
