oil leak: oil pan gasket

I just did my oil pan gasket last week.  I did not use a gasket.  I just used a shit load of RTV sealant all over the pan.  Worked real well.  Bye the way when the main seal leaks it will look like it is coming from the bolts of the oil pan gasket.
