OT: Question for the Americans

Well said Ron. Blaming Bush for the state of the economy and the number of
devasting bankruptcies is irresponsible, but very common and easy to do. But
to say he is using a call to remove Sadam to purposely draw attention away from
"what they are doing to the economy" is ludicrous!

If you don't know why or believe Sadam needs to be taken out, ask the Iraqi
people how they feel. They desperately want to be free from the dictatorship.
Sadam has no regard for his people, and will sacrifice any number of them to
further his agenda as he has in the past. He has pledged to destroy the US and
Israel, and trying to acquire nukes isn't for the empty spot in his display
case.

However, I believe any action needs to be supported and approved by the UN.
Without their support we become, in the eyes of our critics, the global bully
picking on Sadam who is just minding his own business. Which, of course, is
BS, but UN support will help validate this to be a real problem that needs to
be dealt with and not a political game.
