OT: Question for the Americans

I was going to suggest that this one be taken offline before it gets out of
hand, but it is your Freedom of Speech and my Freedom to send each response
to the Round File...

I just sense that this one is going to turn into a conversation of political
beliefs and not facts (obviously, I don't think that was your intention,
Cathy) - because who really knows the facts here? Last time I checked,
George Dubya wasn't on the list (or maybe he's lurker....?) I don't think
Rumsfeld or Cheney are Scirocco enthusiasts (though I don't know for sure...
:p).

Discussing political beliefs, IMHO (!), is as futile as discussing religious
beliefs - i.e., everyone has their own take and convincing others to change
their views is usually impossible...

do with it what you will - I don't mind being flamed (it can't much hotter
here anyway!)
