Audi R8, was Re: Lowering Compression?



Well, I went back and checked the article and there it is.
Although I've always been a big fan of Car & Driver, I think they really
dropped the ball on those numbers.
A 2.0L turbo 4 in LMP675 is limited to 21.5 psi and makes a little over
500 HP. If the Audi was being boosted to over 20 psi the 6 L Panoz and
the 4 L NA Judd engines would have ZERO chance.
Basically, I trust Racecar Engineering and Racetech more than Car &
Driver.
