15" vs 16" weight / nice rim spec site too



My 13 x 9's with the old Hoosier bias ply Auto-x tires on them weighed about
13.5 lbs each.  I switched to Khumo's this year because they were cheap.
They are heavy though, I think the wheel and tire now weigh about 28lbs.

Those 16 (okay, 15.8) pounds may make only a few tenths of a second per lap
difference.  That could be the difference between winning and not winning.
A serious racer would KILL for a tenth of a second.
Casual racers like me (or the Meze) probably wouldn't spend the
money/effort...
