How low is too low? (a little long)

Well, the daily driver I purchased a year ago or so has been "bottoming
out" every so often. I was a little curious as it only has stock 13's on
it. with the 15 - 205's on the project I know I would rub a fender in a
hard turn if I hit a bump, but I figured I would should have no problems
with stock.

so while I was doing an oil change I finally decided to have a look
underneath to find out what kind of suspension is in there and what was
rubbing. Well. I found what look like year old Jamex Springs on yellow
Koni's all the way around.

I also found the pass. side axle has pretty much no boots left on either cv
joint :(

I also found the cause of the "rubbing". I noticed that both axles had a
nice symmetrical ring ground into them. Right above the ring, in the sheet
metal of the roc. was a nice ground out round ridge. It looks like the
tires are not hitting, but the axles are hitting the underside of the roc.

I pulled it into a flat parking lot and looked under it, and my trany cv's
are considerably lower than the knuckles, so the axles are angled up. I
know this is not so great for you cv's. But any one have experience with
what else will have issues with that setup?

I just don't have the cash to go out and get new springs right now, so need
to figure out how much damage is going to be caused with the lowered
suspenssion. I figure it already has at least a year on it :)
