MK1 Spring selectoin

Depends on what you want. If you want it lowered than stock then put the
spax in, if you want the stock height (which is probably with the front way
in the air) stick in the stock springs (the ones with the lines on them),
and if you want a little bit higher than stock, put the 16v springs in. My
opinion, no contest, the spax springs. Spax actually is a pretty decent
spring. Only thing I have heard bad about them is that they sag after a
while but what spring doesn't? Besides, I'm pretty sure that info was over
the list which was probably 4th hand anyway. I had a set on red spax
springs on my 16v rabbit and the ride and height was perfect--not too low,
not high at all front to rear. Tyler (on the list) just put the same
springs on his 84 8v Scirocco and it looks very nice and even all the way
around. Funny thing is is that those springs came off of a 16v and some
people think there is a difference between 8v and 16v!?! Anyway, my
opinion!
