Ins. buyback option question

see if you can find any appraisals of similar cars.  guys on the list helped 
me with this when i totalled mine in march.  also, they have to (at least in 
georgia) give you REPLACEMENT value of your car.  what helped my case is 
that there were so few sciroccos for sale (exactly 0 in the state of GA) 
that mine was very rare. ins co argument was "we can't find out how much 
your car was worth cuz there's nothing to compare it to". my arguement was 
"it's worth what i'm telling you it's worth; check the appraisals. 
otherwise, just find me a 2l 16v scirocco with modded suspension, wheels, 
etc and we'll call it even..". i won :)
