Semi-OT: Late model 99-01 factory stereo backlight color.

See if you can take it apart.  Usually it's as easy as some screws and some
little metal clips.  If it comes apart, it'll be pretty self-explanatory. I
think the display portion will detach somehow, and you'll have to open it
up, too.  I don't know what kind of bulbs they use, or how they do the
lighting.  LMK

I'm thinking about installing a factory radio and CD changer from a late
model car into the Scirocco or the B3 Passat.  I believe the backlight color
is red, isn't it?  Does anyone how to change this to green or if it can be
done?
