Boo.. Engine Troubles

 Yesterday when i was leaving the university i started the car
and noticed werd engine noises.. and the idle was lower than
normal (700rpm) i turned up the idle screw a bit to get it to
1000 so that it wouldn't bounce, but it was still making strange
burpish noises.

The car bogs heavily up to 2500rpm and there is a smell of unburnt
fuel outside the car. (not to mention driving home used a shitload of
gas).

What could be happening here. It's strange since i move the car not
20 minutes prior to leaving and i didn't notice anything.. I drove
from the top of the car park to the bottom in first (around 2k rpm),
something i don't normally do, but it was steep and 2nd would put
me going to fast or clutching in all the time.

It's getting colder here, lastnight wouldn't have been the coldest though,
so it's not nessisarily that.

Could the Air sensor be stuck open a bit? Or would it be an injector
thats dumping to much fuel? Maybe the CIS full throttle enrichment
is stuck?

Does anyone have any ideas?..

This is a total bummer, since today i was going to be installing my
new shocks and struts.. now i have to fix this first =(
