strut bar



I'm with Dan, here.   Most bars have enough bends in them that they can only
add about 3% to the Scirocco's structural rigidity.  Hardly worth the
effort/$.
They are another 'cool' thing to have that doesn't do much. Good thing they
are cheap and easy to bolt on, otherwise there would be no market for them.
