what oil to run in winter?

well when I was in MOntreal last year, I ran 10w40 in winter would any ill efects if was alittle tuff to turn over at -20'c temps, but most time it ran fine, I did let the engine wrm up though...

if you only see occasional 30'f temps you might only drop to 15w30 for example ..

I'm located in south eastern KY so temps don't get all that low but we do get below freezing quite a bit.
