Making a lightened flywheel

I suppose you could cut one yourself but ask the same self if you are =
cutting it in the right place to retain the strength necessary.
I don't believe you could balance it yourself. It needs to be incredibly =
in balance. That includes radial as well as longitudinal balance. I had =
my entire rotating mass done for $60.00 so just the flywheel for =
$140.00? You are getting ripped off and need to find a new machine shop.
