Graaaahh thermostat....




- Fill the block 1st via upper hose.

- Drill one or two small holes in the flat face of the thermostat. It's
brass and drills well. You are doing this to allow coolant to flow past
it a bit allowing trapped air to rise towards the top of the motor.

Also the thermostat gets hot coolant quicker and is more responsive this
way. This is esp. important when you are trying to get it to open the
1st time.
