OT...Re: how to put a US car on the road in England

Yeah Julie I agree with you alot on this ...

I spent 3 months in 2001 in New Zealand... and got a company Porsche Carrera
from the owner of the Medical software company I was fixing problems at
(Help desk revamping is my expertise for 15 years), it was not his... it was
his son's , but he was away to London for 6 months...

Man I love NZ highways (Curves in the Usa? .. dude NZ has curves.. LOTS of
long sea coast (like imagine 200 PCH) all in reach of each other around the
north island... Gawd I was in heaven, and Left Shifter Is a godsent!.

=>Theres a good story for you. Do you Brits etc know why we drive
=>on this side
=>of the road?
=>
=>It started back before the Revolutionary war against British
=>rule. To piss
=>off the ruling brits, we changed the side of the road to ride on
=>and fined
=>those that did not obey. After the war, we just never changed back.
=>
=>It does make more sence to me (learned to drive in Australia) to
=>use my left
=>hand to shift, keeping my right on the wheel.
