cluster interchangability

 Would a cluster out of a scirocco plug and play into a cabriolet?  I prefer the round style guages over the sqaure ones in the cabriolet, and was wondering if i could just get an equivalent cluster and housing (120mph, 7k w/upshift) from a scirocco and just plop it into the cabriolet, hook up the wire harnesses, speedo cable, and be good to go.
