The technique for supplying oil to the wrist pin by drilling "up" the rod is
in fact known by everyone as Rifle Drilling.

Hence the language in the link Marc referenced:

"Pauter offers the option to "rifle drill" the rods so that the wrist pin is
fed pressurized oil directly from the rod bearing."
