head machining



umm, 20 degrees? one full tooth is worth like 7 degrees, so any machining cant possibly cause more of a difference than that. if im
picturing it correctly, as you machine the head it effectively gets more advanced (a good thing), until you get to 3-4 degrees
advanced, where you can just go to the next tooth and end up with a couple of degrees retard.
so in the end you dont need that much travel on the adj. cam gear, and if you want cam timing dead on, then in theory you need the
cam gear regardless of how much you machine.
