my suspension feels loose

Its not a nut and bolt kind of loose. Its a ball joint thing id bet. You
need to jack up the car on one side, input some lateral forces on the
wheel and see where it moves. Eyeball the ball joint and the steering
knuckle as well as the upper strut bearing. Look at the lower control
arms and see if it has excessive play. See what you see.
