noisy 16V instrument cluster

Lately i have a noise coming from the cluster.It's speed dependant so i =
suspected a bad speedo gear. Today i took the cluster out, but the =
little red gear seems fine, it has no play, I put some lubricant in it, =
changed the bulbs. the noise is still there. Any tips?
