Another Virus?

It shouldn't be possible since the list as best I can tell runs from a
Unix/Linux box.  The problem is that some listers have the virus and the
nature of this virus is to ship e-mail to the addresses in the address book
while masking as if it is also coming from those same address makes it
difficult to tell where the hell it's coming from.  IP's in the headers will
help in finding where it came from, but with so many people on dial-up it
makes it more difficult.  Top that off with AOL being so large, it can
really be hard to tell where the virus came from.

Best defence is to get a virus scanner that scans e-mail since this worm can
also run from netscape 6.0+.  I recomend PC-Cillin since it has almost no
over-head.  I've also found that there are updates for it about every 2 days
which it will automaticly download.
